Hope Camp

July 9th - 12th, 2024

9:00 am until Noon

Children going into Kindergarten through 6th grade are invited to attend Hope Camp. This half day summer camp is an opportunity for children that have attended a Generations Family Support Group cycle or will be attending in the future to be able to express their feelings in a safe environment while participating in crafts, games, and activities. Through creative play and art projects, the children are encouraged to share feelings they have been unable or unwilling to express about grief.

This camp is overseen by our Clinical Advisor and Program Director and led by trained volunteer facilitators.

All grief support groups are offered FREE of charge through the generosity of The Hope & Healing Place Supporters and Fundraising Partnerships.

Our Program Director answers calls on our Information & Referral Line (806-371-8998 Ext.4) from those who have experienced a death, as well as from family, friends, co-workers and other concerned individuals who want guidance on how to support the bereaved. If we do not have a program that suits your needs, our staff will work to refer you to an appropriate group in the area as we seek to not duplicate other services that are offered.
